Details of the meeting between Iranian and Portuguese pharmaceutical companies

A joint meeting was held between the Iranian and Portuguese pharmaceutical companies in Lisbon, Portugal.

According to the Public Relations of the Syndicate of Iranian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the meeting, in addition to the presence of Dr. Mohammad Abdeh zadeh, Agent of the Food and Drug Administration, Dr Abbas Kebriaee zadeh as the representative of the syndicate of oeners of Iran’s Human Pharmaceutical Industry, some of Iranian leading companies, including: Cinnagen, Dakpha, Salamat Kara, Sami Saz, Zist Takhmir, Secretariat of Iran Farma, And also some Portuguese companies comprising: GROUP AZEVEDOS،  MEDINFAR، TECNIFAR،LAB. EDOL،LAB. BASI، QUILABAN، SIDEFARMA، LAB. ATRAL، GENIBET were present.

Dr. Sharif zadeh, dean of faculty of pharmacy of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, to sign the memorandum of Understanding, with Dr. Mathilde Fonseca Castro, Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, on the expansion of academic, scientific and cultural cooperation and an attempt to find new areas for sharing knowledge between universities and holding joint courses in this meeting, were attended. Pour Aghdam, the Iranian embassy in Lisbon, in an interview with the Syndicate of Public Relations, said: The pharmaceutical meeting between Iran and Portugal is being held in coordination with the Portuguese embassy in Iran and the Iranian Embassy in Portugal, as well as AICEP (the Foreign Investment Center in Portugal) and the Syndicate of Iranian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Lisbon. Iran and Portugal are complementary in the field of medicine, and we hope that at the end of this meeting and after the B2B meetings, the two sides can achieve tangible and positive results and expand their cooperation.

Portugal has been declaring bankruptcy in many of its industries in 2013, and since that year, it has been a major investment destination for the world’s largest industries.
The pharmaceutical industry in Iran is also planning to launch the Iranian drug market in Portugal.
